Good morning, dear teachers and classmates. I am ShanYu from Class 2 Grade 9. Today, the topic of our speech is to learn etiquette and promote civility.

China has been a nation of etiquette since ancient times. The tradition of stressing civilization and treating people with courtesy has a long history. Just as Confucius said, "If you don't learn etiquette and manners, you can hardly have a place to stay ".

As the next generation of our motherland, we should all learn and have good behavioural habits .

What we should do is not to talk about civilization, but to act according to the principles of civilization, from the campus to the society, from only a slight effort to act bravely for a just cause. Actions that can reflect our good civilized habits are everywhere..

Then how should we manifest our excellent accomplishment and civilized habits? Now let's welcome Sun Fanting to speak.

Thanks to Sun Fanting's wonderful speech.

In the campus, civilization is casually picking up paper balls that fall to the ground. It is a kind greeting to passing teachers and classmates. It is as simple as turning off the lights when leaving the classroom after school.

As the saying goes, "don't fail to do good even if it's small, don't engage in evil even if it's small ."

In our life, we should set high standards for ourselves, start from the small things around us, strictly regulate our own behavior, and reflect the civilized elegant demeanour of Jinqiao people.
